Lighting Design

The principal of Schiler + Associates has worked for and with several lighting design firms as well as completing projects in house. The philososphy of the firm tends towards subtle lighting, reinforcing the concept of the architect or owner. This is done by lighting the key elements and focal points in a space.

Is the design hierarchical? Provide a hierarchy of light levels which reinforces that hierarchy.

Is the design episodic or processional?
Provide a choreograpy of light sources (Color Rendering Index, Color Temperature) which reinforces the sequence.
